Participate in Our Program

Citizenship Counts is committed to increasing civic awareness among today’s youth. Through our partnerships with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the U.S. federal courts, Citizenship Counts affords students across the country the opportunity to host a naturalization ceremony at their schools. Hosting a ceremony helps America’s youth understand and appreciate the privileges and responsibilities of being an American citizen.

Citizenship Counts provides, free-of-charge, an interactive, multi-disciplinary curriculum to all schools participating in our program. In return, we ask that all participants complete both pre- and post-surveys that measure students’ academic and personal growth throughout the program. The surveys are available on this website. Individual results will remain confidential. We thank you for providing these data, which are crucial in our efforts to evaluate the effectiveness of the program and advance our impact throughout the country.

If your school would like to promote your students’ citizenship awareness, using our curriculum, please send an email to education@citizenshipcounts.org with “School Request” in the subject line. Please include the name, email address, and phone number of the person with whom our staff can discuss your school’s participation in the Citizenship Counts program.  Thank you!
